Y Not is Tony spelled backwards. Tony is Michele's husband and often her inspiration. Tony's background is Greek and Italian and many of the recipes that Michele makes for your events come from being passed down from generation to generation, originating in Athens and a small town in Italy! So her food really is made with love! In addition to family, her food reflects an appreciation of growing up in New Mexico and the traditions of Albuquerque.
When Michele was 14 years old, her grandfather emptied out a horse trailer, remodeled it with a kitchen, and set up Michele as a cook for the hired hands on the ranch. This was the modest beginning of a great career in catering.
Michele and Tony live in Albuquerque with their three children, three English Bulldogs, two Chihuahuas, tropical fish and a chinchilla,
Michele is also celliac. She understands special needs like wheat and gluten free, dairy free, peanut and other nut allergy free, etc. And she has great tasting recipes to work around special diets.
